The history of RECTEL AB and the company’s experience in the recycling business.
RECTEL AB was founded in 2010 in Malmö, Sweden and is one of the fast growing cartridge collectors company in Scandinavia. For the moment we are operating in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Germany and Chech Republic.
RECTEL AB’s mission is to help large and medium-sized businesses to recycle / reuse their used printer cartridges in an efficient manner from an economic and environmentally point of view.
RECTEL’s business is to be a flexible partner in environmental management of used laser toner and ink cartridges.
The company currently employs 10 people. Two of our co-workers have more than eight years of industry experience.
The company handles up to 100 tonnes of spent printer cartridges a month. These printer cartridges are being resold and reused in an international market. The products that can not be reused are disposed by our recycling partner in Malmö, Sweden.
The name RECTEL is an acronym for ”Recycling Tellus”.
RECTEL works with two types of products: used ink cartridges and used laser cartridges. These are collected through various channels from large and medium-sized enterprises.
The large majority of our cartridges are collected directly from end users; they undergo a strict inspection before been packed in production ready boxes.
